Carmen creates small collages on paper and larger works on wood panels, canvas, and metal.
While Art History and her inner and outer world remain an influence in the images she uses, it is a network of artists who are also inspiring her work. She is connected with a group of artists from the global “Mail Art” community and credits this association and the fast and free sharing of art and ideas with enhancing her creativity. She has fun being a part of a global community and experimenting with new mediums and techniques.
